After almost recovering from the disappointment of not becoming Pope, I was told this morning that I couldn’t take my PPA time this afternoon due to much illness in school. I – for the first time in a long time – feel good at the moment. So I’m owed an afternoon. This was particularly difficult, given that my time had been arranged for it with more work on the maths assessments which I need to get done. Year 2’s is now complete, leaving just those in Key Stage 2 to arrange. My class can always take an old SAT paper – which I probably will do now – but as a calibration test for the ones I’m making it is helpful to compare results from something else. My poor maths class get to sit two tests! Lucky them.
I’m really starting to look forward to getting up at a silly hour this weekend for the Australian Grand Prix. Both qualifying and the race start at 6am, but I’ll be up quite early to make sure I’m awake to enjoy it fully. I hope Kit likes watching cars!
Band was its usual slice of loveliness. And that brings me to here.
